Sweetness contacted the adoption agency today. They said since our profile was sent out to a graphic artist outside of the agency we were charged. He said, we had the profile updated in JULY and it was done incorrectly. We also paid a one time 1000 profile fee that includes keeping our profile up to date and printing color profiles for distributions. He stated that as far as he was concerned the graphic artist update was part of the profile fee and when we decided to update in July we were not told it would cost us an extra 250 dollars. Nothing was resolved. He did NOT say we would pay it. He DID say we want our home study update. Given their terrible record keeping and book keeping skills I think it’s safe to assume they won’t follow up unless we try to restart the adoption journey with them (we WON’T).
